There’s a first time for everything, and for us at Wealcoder, WordCamp Dhaka 2025 was one for the books. 💙
As a team passionate about crafting creative WordPress experiences, stepping into our very first WordCamp was both exciting and inspiring. From the moment we heard WordCamp Dhaka was returning, we knew we had to be a part of it, not just as attendees, but as active contributors to the vibrant WordPress community that drives everything we do.
For those meeting us for the first time, Wealcoder is the team behind Animation Addons, the first-ever GSAP-powered animation builder for Elementor. We help designers, developers, and agencies create stunning, fully animated websites, no coding required.
In the weeks before the event, our team was filled with excitement and anticipation. We designed our booth, prepared exciting giveaways, and couldn’t wait to finally meet the faces behind the WordPress usernames we’ve interacted with online for years.
Little did we know, our first WordCamp would turn out to be a weekend full of inspiration, learning, laughter, and unforgettable community moments all wrapped in the energetic, collaborative spirit that makes WordPress so special.
The WordCamp Spirit — Energy, People & Purpose
The moment we stepped into WordCamp Dhaka 2025 at Senaprangan, Dhaka Cantonment, we could feel the buzz, the excitement, and that unmistakable WordPress energy that fills the air when passionate creators come together.
Every corner of the venue was alive. You could see developers discussing plugins, designers comparing creative ideas, and content creators sharing growth stories over coffee. It was a beautiful mix of people, from students attending their first tech event to seasoned WordPress professionals and agency owners.
The diversity of backgrounds and experiences was exactly what made the event so inspiring.
What impressed us most was how community-driven everything felt. WordCamp isn’t just a tech conference; it’s a celebration of collaboration. No matter where you looked, people were exchanging ideas, helping each other, and talking about how they could make WordPress even better. That open, inclusive spirit is what sets the WordPress community in Bangladesh apart.
Seeing so many people eager to learn and share reminded us why we built Animation Addons to make website creation easier, more creative, and more interactive for developers, designers, and agencies alike.
By the end of the first morning, we’d already had dozens of conversations, exchanged countless smiles, and felt a sense of belonging that’s hard to put into words. WordCamp Dhaka 2025 didn’t just showcase the strength of the WordPress community; it made us feel like we were an active part of it.
The WordCamp Spirit — Energy, People & Purpose
The weeks leading up to WordCamp Dhaka 2025 were exciting. Our office was alive with brainstorming, booth mockups, and last-minute preparations. For us at Wealcoder, this WordCamp was more than just an event. This time, not only were we proud sponsors, but it was also our first opportunity to showcase Animation Addons live in front of the WordPress community.
Our office quickly transformed into a hub of excitement. Every day brought brainstorming sessions, planning checklists, and bursts of creative discussions. From booth mockups and demo planning to giveaway ideas and social promotions, the energy was electric.
The energy was so high that we even planned an in-house photoshoot the day before the event, all dressed in our newly designed Animation Addons T-shirts. The whole place felt alive — full of creativity, laughter, and anticipation.
As organizers, we knew how much effort goes into making a WordCamp successful, but preparing as both an organizer and exhibitor gave us a whole new perspective. Balancing coordination and creativity wasn’t easy, but it was incredibly rewarding. We wanted our booth to reflect everything Animation Addons stands for — creativity, motion, and simplicity.
When the day finally arrived, stepping up to the Wealcoder booth was pure excitement. From the very first glance, the booth was designed to catch the eye and spark curiosity with bright banners, colorful displays, and live demos of Animation Addons in action.
Interactive screens showcased scroll-triggered animations, hover effects, and dynamic text reveals, giving visitors a real-time glimpse of how our GSAP-powered Elementor plugin can transform websites into living, interactive experiences.
The reactions were unforgettable. Attendees stopped by, testing out animations themselves, asking questions, and sharing ideas about how they could use Animation Addons in their own projects.
Designers were amazed at how effortlessly they could create complex motion effects, while developers appreciated the plugin’s efficiency and versatility. One visitor even exclaimed, “Your team makes animations look so easy — and fun!” A moment that perfectly captured the spirit of our first WordCamp.
Every team member brought their energy, making the booth not just informative, but welcoming and interactive.
Of course, no booth is complete without a few surprises! We handed out custom Animation Addons T-shirts, colorful wristbands, and ran our much-awaited 1-year free license giveaway for 228 lucky winners.
Throughout the event, we were blown away by the community’s enthusiasm. Visitors shared their own ideas, suggested new features, and told us how Animation Addons could simplify their workflow. Hearing such genuine feedback in person was incredibly motivating.
The WordCamp Spirit — Energy, People & Purpose
The conference session at WordCamp Dhaka 2025 kicked off with something truly special: Matt Mullenweg, the co-founder of WordPress, joined virtually for the very first time!
Everyone listened intently as he shared his vision for the future of WordPress and how open-source and community continue to drive its evolution.
The energy carried through every session, each one packed with insights on SEO, AI, design, and community. It was clear: WordPress is evolving faster than ever.
One of the most eye-opening sessions of the day was “LLM SEO: The Next Frontier of SEO”, led by Shahriar Hasan. Known for his expertise in blending creativity with data-driven strategy, Shahriar shared how AI and Large Language Models (LLMs) are redefining the future of search.
He explained that SEO is no longer just about keywords and backlinks; it’s about making your content understandable to AI models like ChatGPT and Gemini. From structured data and semantic optimization to entity-based content strategies, the session explored how brands can stay discoverable in this new AI-powered era.
It was a fascinating look at how marketers and creators need to evolve not just to rank on search engines, but to be recognized by AI as authoritative, relevant, and trustworthy.
Hasin Hayder, a veteran developer, educator, and one of the most respected names in the Bangladeshi WordPress community, delivered a powerful talk on WordPress security. Having worked with WordPress since 2005, Hasin is the author of “WordPress 2.0 Complete”, co-founder of HappyMonster (the team behind HappyAddons for Elementor), and an educator who has taught over 10,000 learners through LearnWithHasinHayder.
In his session, Hasin emphasized that real security goes far beyond installing plugins — it starts with strong server configurations, correct file permissions, and proactive defense strategies. His hands-on approach and deep technical insights reminded everyone that no matter how innovative or visually stunning a website may be, it’s only as strong as its foundation. True innovation, he noted, must always be backed by solid security.
The session by Anzuman Ara Chowdhury brought a refreshing, human touch to the day. She shared her journey of balancing career, community, and creativity in the WordPress space, an inspiring reminder that personal growth and professional success can (and should) coexist in harmony.
Each session left us with fresh perspectives on technical improvements and creative strategies on the importance of community and collaboration. More than anything, it reminded us that WordPress thrives because of the people behind it, constantly pushing boundaries and sharing knowledge to make the web a better place.
To close out an amazing day, WordCamp Dhaka ended on a high note with a fun-filled raffle draw!
Each company had special surprises for attendees, and we were thrilled to join in the celebration. We gave away a smartwatch, wireless headphones, and even an AirPods set to a few lucky winners!
The atmosphere was full of smiles, laughter, and excitement as names were called and prizes were handed out. It was the perfect way to end a day packed with learning, inspiration, and community spirit.
We were deeply honored to be recognized both as a Platinum Sponsor and as part of the organizing team at WordCamp Dhaka 2025. That recognition meant the world to us; it wasn’t just a title or an award, but a reflection of months of planning, teamwork, and shared passion for the WordPress community. Seeing our name among those who helped make this event possible was a proud reminder of how much we’ve grown and how far the community has come together.
We’re truly grateful to the entire WordCamp Dhaka organizing team for putting together such a seamless and inspiring event. Your hard work behind the scenes made this experience possible, and it was incredible to see the WordPress community come together so beautifully because of your efforts.
At the same time, we want to give a huge shout-out to our Wealcoder team. Their energy, creativity, and dedication brought our booth to life and made our first WordCamp experience truly special. From planning demos to engaging with visitors, every moment reflected their passion and teamwork. Here’s a snapshot of our team in action at the booth, a small glimpse of the laughter, excitement, and hard work that went into making this weekend unforgettable.
